Still projectwork-time.
Besides that the conversations between girls
are constantly turning around food.
Told them the other day how there were these punks in
the big german city pointing fingers at me
"look, there's an emo!"
that is just hilarious,- i was wearing a dress with dots.
Some people would have called it "Rockabilly".
Germans love their subcultures...
I'm also not "Straight-edge" (though i like that name)
or a "gothic".
(Guys, not everyone who preferes
to wear black and has black hair is a gothic.
What the heck is a gothic?)
The response of my studymate:
(she was balancing on one leg while saying this,
-her other leg stretched to the sky)
"Well, we don't have that so much here in Denmark.
But i belong to the subculture of the "Sylfides".
These are people who are beautiful and stretchy."
- laying half on the ground laughing and shaking-
In a certain way i feel free to be more "femininelooking"here.
Maybe it's the perceived danish sylfide-feminity-concept.
it can be a pressure to be always "styled"
it can be too much, and sure being feminin
is not just about the outer looks.
But right now i just enjoy it to wear skirts, dresses
and shoes with decent heels (who would have thought i'd ever start doing that)
without feeling to be immediately "categorised".
piger, vi skal danse!
