mini-holiday
Few days off, heading to the dutch neighbors.
I so wanted to go out for a nice dinner, but we just could not find a vegetarian and reasonable priced menu in all these restaurants. Finally we ended up in a dark student bar and had some super cheap and awesome onion-soup. Yes.
That kind of where you get 3 layers: 1st thick melted edamer cheese, 2nd slices of baguette and when you dig deeper you find that thick, savoury onion soup.
Makes an excellent base for some single malt.

potato harvest
Every year I try planting something on the balcony/window.
I never suceed in the sense of really growing a lot.
It rather seems that every plant will make it to just survive and be a little fruitful, and then they die.
So this year we tried planting potatoes in a plastic bucket on the balcony. The plant looked quiet impressive. And this is the full harvest. It made me happy anyway. Because the commune said, it will not function. Ha, look at these babies.

Maxie Wander s book. The women speaking about the ideal of equal rights in socialism contra their real lifes. Very self-consious.
In the beginning a poem from an old song. Good morning beautiful one ... the poem goes on with praises about the beautiful ones features and body.
He is waiting for her.
The poem ends: when she is not coming
he will grab a knife and stab her in her heart.

visitations and drinks
last months a friend from iceland visited me, got to know him 8 years ago on the shetland islands, and now he visited me during a europe-trip. Good talks, after all this time.
Also, a friend of mine from kindergarden-childhood-school-yooth-time visited me. We hung out a little in a village near-by, which is really old and beautiful.
Made some rhubarb-sirup and we created our summer drink 2013:
rhubarb-rose-secco
50% rhubarb (fresh rhubarb, cooked until soft, strained, reduced with a little sugar)
50% rose-secco (rose-champagner)
mint leaves
